ADVENT TEACHING SERIES – There is a fascinating recurring theme woven throughout the Bible. It is the theme of light and darkness. It begins in Genesis and is very much a part of the story of Jesus’ birth and life here on earth. During the season of Advent, which begins on December 3, we will focus our teaching on the theme “Light Shines in the Darkness.” Darkness is often represented in Scripture as anything that scares us. It embodies fear, sadness, pain, sin, and lack of understanding. It is contrasted with light – which is seen in things like goodness, truth, confidence, and salvation. Please join us in worship each Sunday during this Advent season when we celebrate, once again, the coming of Jesus Christ into our world and our lives. Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12.

Once a month these envelopes are sent out for the upcoming month and include the envelopes for each Sunday of the month. If you do not receive this monthly mailing of envelopes and would like to, please contact Diane in the church office at 669-3430 ext. 114 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will include you in the mailing as soon as possible!
Nursery Volunteer Schedule – Click here to sign up. Even if you don’t use the nursery now, you may have children in other ministry areas.
