Progressive Dinner

Few things are more fun than a progressive dinner. It’s a great opportunity for people to gather together, meet new friends, and share some really great food.

Coming February 20, 2010 Redeemer Church will offer an evening of progressive dinners. This event is designed to offer members of the congregation an opportunity to invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker (not currently attending Redeemer Church) to an evening of casual fellowship. Redeemer members, and their guests, will travel from house to house for different meal courses and then gather at Redeemer Church for dessert.

Principal of progressive dinner is that all the guests for the dinner party will be split into groups of 8-12 people and then will travel as a group to a home for appetizers; the party will then progress to the next house where soup or salad is served, then on to the next location for the main course. For dessert, we'll converge at Redeemer Church for more fun with the entire group. This event is designed to offer the congregation an opportunity to invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker (not currently attending Redeemer) to an evening of casual fellowship and allow everyone to expand their circle of friends.

We are currently looking for Redeemer Church members willing to be a host location. If you are interested in being a host home visit the sign-up table in the lobby January 17th. The more host homes we have, the more people outside our congregation we can invite.
