Prayer Requests
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18: 19-20
Each week in our bulletin we run prayer requests for the congregation to be aware of and to be praying for. These concerns range from health concerns, personal crisis, to job situations, and can be either short or long term concerns. The comfort and beauty of being part of a church family is knowing that we care for and support each other in prayer. We know that there is true power in prayer and have seen many instances where prayer has been answered. Take time each week to look over the concerns and include these names in your prayers throughout the week.
With the current HIPA Privacy rules we may only print names of people needing prayer in the bulletin if approved by the immediate family. Additionally, we can only print names not the actual reason for the request. Here are a few ways you can submit a prayer concern for the bulletin or for the Prayer Chain.
When requesting a prayer request, please indicated which way you would like the request handled.
• In the bulletin to the congregation
• In an E-news to congregation members who subscribed to E-news
• As a prayer request to the Prayer Chain
• As a confidential request to the congregation with no names listed
• or any combination of the above choices
