A THRILLING RIDE WITH JESUS!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
JUNE 23 - 26, 2008
(Monday - Thursday)
All Preschoolers(3yrs and up) through 5th graders Welcome!
Morning Session: 9:00 - 11:30am or Afternoon Session: 1:00 - 3:30pm
"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve..." Joshua 24:15
Hear the music & smell the popcorn! Come enter SonWorld Adventure Park,
where kids will discover that choosing Jesus is the ticket to the
best ride of their lives. Based on Joshua 24:15, VBS 2008
helps kids learn to make right choices in a world of options.
At this theme park, there's no height requirement, the lines are short
and everyone gets a good view of the parade. But hold onto your
hats, because it's sure to be a life-changing ride!

Registration: You can still sign up to come to VBS at the tables in the lobby.
Please note that we cannot accept any walk-ins or friends during VBS week.
Volunteers: Adult and youth helpers are still needed to be group leaders or to assist in
the different activity areas. If you can help on any or all of the 4 mornings
or afternoons, fill out a sheet at the VBS table or contact Sue Campbell.
Donations: Since we don’t charge a fee for VBS, we rely on donations for snack
and craft items to keep our expenses down. Watch for more details in the coming weeks.
Also, some of the items we use are easier and more cost-effective for us to
purchase in a large quantity from VBS suppliers rather than ask you to
find them in local stores. Therefore, cash donations are very helpful
in defraying those costs. If you’d like to help in this way, you can give
either cash or a check payable to “Redeemer UMC” (please note that it’s for VBS)
and put it in the offering plate or bring/mail it to the church office.
Operation Christmas Child: We’ll be filling shoe boxes once again as our mission project,
so we need lots of adult or large child-size shoe boxes with detachable lids and rolls of ‘kid-friendly’ Christmas wrapping paper! Please put them under the VBS table.
