How We Serve
Beginning in mid-January through the first week of February, Redeemer gathers new baby clothing and other items, including disposable diapers and wipes. These are donated to Pregnancy Services of Greater Lansing. Moms-to-be can select necessary items for their upcoming baby with “shopping vouchers” that they earn by taking educational classes to assist them in future parenting. Topics include infant care, development, nutrition and more.
How to Get Involved
- Purchase items identified on tags and return them to the church.
- Volunteer to pack and deliver items to the designated Pregnancy Services of Greater Lansing location.

TIME TO “GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW” – IT’S BABY BLESSING TIME AGAIN!
You will see a Pack-n-Play playpen in the lobby which is for the Baby Blessings Ministry. Redeemer is once again partnering with the Pregnancy Services of Greater Lansing (PSGL). Through the PSGL, moms-to-be can select items needed for their upcoming baby with credits they earn by taking educational classes helping them with topics such as caring for a new baby and nutrition.
Here’s how you can help with your ducky donations to fill the playpen. Just grab a tag from the display, shop for the item(s) and bring them back unwrapped to the church by Sunday, February 4. This is a fun way to help support moms who may have limited resources, are alone, or are at risk of terminating a pregnancy. Join us in making this stage of life just “ducky” for a young family. There is also a sign up sheet at the display if you are interested in helping deliver the donated items to the Pregnancy Center in Lansing. The center is located in East Lansing on Grand River a few blocks east of Abbott Road. A map and directions will be provided.
