Bringing the Supermarket to the People
Want to help meet one of the most basic needs of human life? Join us at our next Mobile Food Pantry as we distribute free food to those in need. Mobile Food Pantry is the second Thursday of every month at the Bath Memorial Building on Park Lake Road.
Here's what you can expect:
| - | Volunteers arrive at the food pantry location for set-up and instructions at 8:30am |
| - | Pre-registration of food recipients |
| - | Volunteer truck drive picks up the truck from Red Cross and delivers to pantry location |
| - | MFP truck is completely unloaded into MFP location |
| - | Some repackaging of food is required |
| - | Around 9:30am distribution of food begins |
| - | MFP wrapped up and packed away by 11:00am |
You Can Help By...
| ... | signing up to help at the Mobile Food Pantry |
| ... | notifying Susan if you would like to volunteer to drive the semi-truck, have access to a forklift or are an experienced forklift operator |
| ... | praying for those that are hungry and the volunteers |
