Putting Beliefs Into Actions
Through Outreach Ministries, the Redeemer congregation actively works to serve those in need. These ministries put into action our mission to “connect people with the love and life of Jesus Christ.” Outreach projects allow us to show those in our community and throughout the world God’s love. Doing for others not only makes a significant difference in the lives of the recipients but also in the lives of those who serve.
In the words of Jesus Christ, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25: 34-36, 40)
We have a responsibility to use our unique gifts to serve those around us according to God's plan. Outreach ministries provide an opportunity for you to get involved in hands-on ministry and mission projects.
How To Get Involved
The Outreach Team operates on the belief that as members of our congregation we will actively follow in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by developing and implementing ministries to give aid and comfort to those in need in our community and worldwide.
With this goal in mind monthly Team Meetings are held throughout the year in the evening at the Church. Meeting dates will be posted on the church calendar, a week prior to our meeting in the Sunday bulletin, and on the Redeemer website.
