Worship Times

Redeemer offers four worship services on Sunday morning: 8:15, 9:30 and two services at 11:00 am. The 8:15 am service is a traditional service, while the 9:30 and one of the 11:00 am services incorporate more modern elements - multimedia, drama, modern praise and worship music - all in a
relaxed atmosphere.

The other 11:00 am service, called CATCH, is held in the Student Center. This worship service is for those who like a more modern service with faster paced drums, guitars, and load music!

For the summer months, starting June 15, 2008 the CATCH service will be moving to Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm.

The worship services feature preaching that is Biblically-based and relevant to our everyday lives.  The theme of the morning is explored through music, prayer and proclamation, as we come together as the Body of Christ to praise God, hear the Word, and go once again into the community to serve.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month in all services as well as at special services and Maundy Thursday.  Additional worship services are offered on Good Friday and Easter.

Children are welcome in all of our services.  We encourage parents to include their children in worship on Sunday morning.  Worship bags, available on the stand in the lobby, are color coded canvas bags for your child to use during the worship service. The bags include many items such as coloring or activity books, paper, crayons or colored pencils, and miscellaneous activities to quietly entertain your child during the service. Blue bags are geared toward pre-readers and tan bags are for older children (approximately 5+).

There are many opportunities to serve in worship for children, youth and adults.  Some of these include: greeting (welcoming guests by people of all ages); ushering (welcoming people to worship and helping with the offering); and serving Communion.  In addition, music groups of various ages participate in all three worship services.
